As part of its mission outreach, IGAO seeks to provide tangible assistance to orphanages. IGAO maintains good working relationships with foreign authorities in order to identify specific humanitarian needs. Hope Program below is one such project. Russian Orphanage Exchange is a project that seeks to help place children in adoptive homes.

  PROJECT HOPE   RUSSIAN ORPHAN EXCHANGE
Over the past four years, IGAO has had the privilege of helping four children receive life changing medical treatments. Through our affiliation with Dean Hesselgrave (an adoptive father and prosthetist), over 80 children have been examined and many are being scheduled to receive prosthetics and minor surgery to correct their disabilities.

"Since August of 2001, IGAO has brought orphan children from Russia to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The children stay with host families for 3-4 weeks and have the opportunity to experience the incredible love that a family can offer.

Over 40 children were joined with "forever families" as a result of the first two orphan exchange projects.

HELP WITH THE RUSSIAN ORPHANAGE EXCHANGE
With the Russian Orphanage Exchange program, we plan a number of recreational events for the children, host and sponsor/supporter families plus some fundraisers while they are here. From recreational events in pools and amusement parks to medical checkups and special dinners, we try to make the visit fun for the children and the host families.
