"Since August of 2001, IGAO has brought
orphan children from Russia to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
The children stay with host families for 3-4 weeks and have
the opportunity to experience the incredible love that a family
can offer.
GOAL:
The hope of this program is to give children the opportunity
to be joined with an adoptive family. Once children have
been selected, families are given the opportunity to express
an interest in hosting and /or sponsoring the children that
were chosen.
PROCESS:
The process of matching children with host families is fascinating.
It is always a miracle to see how God works in these circumstances.
He always places the children in the right home - whether
that is just for the visit or with a "forever family'."
International Guardian Angels Outreach has placed nearly 140 children with "forever families". The great majority of those adoptions were the result of the exchange programs.

With
the Russian Orphanage Exchange program, we plan a number
of recreational events for the children, host and sponsor/supporter
families plus some fundraisers while they are here. From
recreational events in pools and amusement parks to medical
checkups and special dinners, we try to make the visit fun
for the children and the host families.
The
opportunity is here! Plans and arrangements are underway
for the upcoming Russian Orphan Exchange. Here are some
ways we need your help:
- Families
to host each of the children and adult escorts/chaperons
during the exchange period..
- Families
or individuals that can financially sponsor, or assist
in sponsoring, each child and adult so that all costs
for the program are covered.
- Volunteers
who can assist with event planning and coordination, food
preparation, or in other ways during the various fun nad
educational activities that are all a part of the program.
Could
you help this year with a
gift of $1,800 to $2,200?
